PLATTE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting nightly lane closures on northbound and southbound Missouri Route 9 for pavement repair operations. All work is weather permitting
The following locations will have a one lane closure in place, evening and overnight from approximately 7 p.m. until 7 a.m., beginning Wednesday, Aug. 27 through Friday, Aug. 29.
- SB MO-9 at Mattox Road
- NB MO-9 just north of Interstate 635

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
