St. Joseph, Mo. – Cale Seymour Construction, LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, began a bridge replacement project on the Caldwell County Route D Bridge over Shoal Creek on Monday, March 10. The bridge was expected to reopen by early August, but the project has been delayed several times due to weather and contractor schedule changes and is now planned to reopen by November 2025.
Traffic Impacts: The bridge will remain closed throughout the duration of the project, and motorists will need to continue to use an alternate route.
