MoDOT to hold Improve I-70 Foristell interchange project public meeting Tuesday, September 9

ST. CHARLES COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold an informational open house style public meeting about upcoming traffic impacts related to the Foristell interchange improvements on Tuesday, September 9 from 4-6 p.m.

The public meeting will be held at the Foristell City Hall located at 121 Mulberry St, Foristell, MO 63348. No formal presentations will be made during the open-house style meeting. Attendees can stop by at any time during the meeting to view the project details and speak with representatives from MoDOT.

This work is part of the Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project covering the eastern portion of I-70. It was awarded in November 2024. Construction is set to continue through 2028.

Missouri’s FY2024 budget, approved through the state legislative process and signed into law by the governor, provides $2.8 billion in General Revenue to build a third lane of I-70 across the state. The program will plan, design, construct, reconstruct, rehabilitate, and add a third lane in each direction on nearly 200 miles of I-70, from Blue Springs to Wentzville.
