Taney County – A project to rehabilitate two (2) bridges in Hollister is scheduled to begin the week of September 1, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
These are the bridges and work that will be done:
- Northbound U.S. Route 65 over Business 65 (Industrial Park Drive) in Hollister
- What: Resurfacing bridge deck/driving surface, permanent lane striping
- When: 10 p.m.-7 a.m., Wednesday-Monday, September 3-8
- Traffic Impacts:
- Drivers can expect lane closures, traffic delays
- All lanes OPEN during daytime hours and weekends
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
- Drivers urged to find alternate routes
- Business 65 over U.S. Route 65 in Hollister
- What: Resurfacing bridge deck/driving surface, sidewalk and barrier curb repair, permanent striping
- When: 10 p.m.-7 a.m., Tuesday-Friday, September 9-12
- Traffic Impacts:
- Drivers can expect lane closures and traffic delays
- All lanes OPEN during daytime hours
- Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
- Drivers urged to find alternate routes
Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.

This work is part of a larger project that includes rehabilitation of additional bridges in Taney, Dade and McDonald counties.
