Additional closures planned on Jade Road east of U.S. Route 54

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – The planned closure for pothole patching on a segment of South Outer Road 70 (Jade Road) has been extended. Local crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation closed the roadway today, Thursday, Aug. 21, at 7 a.m. between U.S. Route 54 and Callaway County Route JJ. They will reopen Jade Road this afternoon at 4 p.m. It will remain open Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. It will close again on Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 26 and 27, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

During the closures, local property owners on Jade Road will be able to access driveways, but through traffic will need to seek an alternate route.
