Update: Rural route resurfacing project to begin in Carroll County on Route EE Aug. 21

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – A project focused on resurfacing low volume rural routes in several counties across Northwest Missouri began in April. Capital Paving & Construction LLC, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will begin resurfacing Carroll County Route EE on Thursday, Aug. 21.

Traffic Impacts: During construction, roadways will be narrowed to one lane with flaggers directing motorists through the work zone. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place. Travel delays should be expected.

The contractor’s tentative schedule is as follows:

  • Aug. 22 – Carroll County Route E.
  • Aug. 27 – Carroll County Route NN.
  • Sept. 2 – Carroll County Route UU.
  • Sept. 8 – Carroll County Route T.
  • Sept. 11 – Linn County Route TT.
  • Sept. 18 – Linn County Route W.
  • Sept. 22 – Linn County Route EE.

The following routes have been completed:

  • Chariton/Randolph County Route W.
  • Chariton County Route C.
  • Linn/Chariton County Route ZZ.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
