JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting lighting improvements on eastbound I-70 west of I-435 and southbound I-435 resulting in various lane closures. All work is weather permitting.
Tuesday, August 19 at 8 p.m. until Wednesday, August 19 at 8 p.m.
- Crews will close the right lane on eastbound I-70 west of I-435 at Manchester Trafficway.
Wednesday, August 20 at 8:00 a.m. until Thursday, August 20 at 8 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Crews will close the right lane on southbound I-435 at WB I-70.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
