SIKESTON -Route Z in Scott County will be closed as railroad crews perform railroad maintenance.
This section of the roadway is located from Rose Parkway to Route 61 near Sikeston, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work is scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 19 through 3 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
