MoDOT KC to host Public Meeting for I-49 Corridor Upgrades in Jackson and Cass Counties, Oct. 2

JACKSON AND CASS COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation Kansas City (MoDOT KC) will hold an open house style meeting to discuss corridor upgrades on I-49. The purpose of the project is to improve traffic flow and safety along the I-49 corridor in Jackson and Cass Counties.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, October 2 from 4:30 pm until 6:30 pm at Mill Creek Upper Elemenary School located at 308 S Cleveland Ave, Belton, MO 64012. The meeting will provide the opportunity for attendees to ask questions, learn more about the project, and leave a comment. MoDOT is committed to providing access to this event for all participants. The meeting will be an open house meeting with no formal presentation. In addition to the public meeting on Oct. 2, there will also be an opportunity to view project displays and exhibits and leave comments on the project webpage beginning at 4 p.m. on Thurs., Oct. 2 until 4 p.m. on Thurs. Oct. 16.
