LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Aug. 11-15. All work is weather permitting.
CLAY COUNTY
Interstate 35 southbound between mile markers 32 and 29 (north of Kearney): right lane closed on Mon. Aug. 11 and Tue., Aug. 12, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.
JACKSON COUNTY
Interstate 470 southbound past U.S. Highway 40: lane closures for pavement repair.
- Mon., Aug. 11, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.: left lane closed
- Fri., Aug. 15, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.: right lane closed
Interstate 435 between Interstate 70 and 103rd St.: intermittent lane closures on Tue., Aug. 12 and Wed., Aug. 13, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, for pothole patching.
U.S. Highway 50 at Hutt Rd.: Hutt Rd. closed on Tue., Aug. 12, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.
Route BB between Route FF and Pink Hill: lane closures on Wed., Aug. 13, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.
NW Blue Parkway from Colbern Rd. north to end of state maintenance: full closure on Thu., Aug. 14, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.
JOHNSON COUNTY
Route NN: full closures from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair:
- Mon., Aug. 11 and Tue., Aug. 12: closed between Route E to NE 900 Rd.
- Wed., Aug. 13 and Thu., Aug 14: closed between Route E to Route FF
Route OO between NW 171st Rd. and NW 111th Rd.: flagging operation on Wed. Aug. 13, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for bridge work.
LAFAYETTE COUNTY
Route TT between Route Z and Route OO: flagging operations with pilot cars on Mon., Aug. 11 and Tue., Aug. 12, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.
Route U between Route M and Route H: flagging operations with pilot cars on Wed., Aug. 13 and Thu., Aug. 14, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.
RAY COUNTY
Route W at Cardinal Rd.: full closure on Mon., Aug. 11, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for culvert replacement work.
Route K: full closures from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for culvert replacement work
- Tue., Aug. 12: between Horn Hill Rd. and Millville Rd.
- Wed., Aug. 13 and Thu., Aug. 14: between Horn Hill Rd. and Route E
SALINE COUNTY
Route M between Missouri Highway 240 and end of state maintenance: full closure from Mon., Aug. 11 until Wed., Aug. 13, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement work.
Route O between Missouri Highway 41 and Slater: full closure on Thu., Aug. 14, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement work.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
