Lane closures scheduled for KC Scout camera installation on U.S. 71/I-49 in Jackson County

Aug. 11-14

JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct KC Scout camera installation at locations on U.S. 71 and I-49 resulting in lane closures. All work is weather permitting.

Mon., Aug. 11 at approx. 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

  • Crews will conduct various lane closures on southbound U.S. 71 at 39th Street.

Tues., Aug. 12 at approx. 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

  • Crews will conduct various lane closures on northbound U.S. 71 at Linwood Blvd.

Wed., Aug. 13 at approx. 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

  • Crews will conduct various lane closures on NB U.S. 71 at 26th Street.

Thurs., Aug. 14 at approx. 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

  • Crews will conduct various lane closures on northbound I-49 at MO 150.

Motorists are advised to plan ahead and be vigilant of work in the area. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
