ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted Herzog Contracting Corp. for a resurfacing project that will lengthen the lifespan of roadways in Worth and Harrison counties. The project is scheduled to begin Monday, July 28. The contractor’s tentative schedule is as follows:
- Aug. 11 – Worth County Route D
- Aug. 12 – Worth County Route F
- Aug. 18 – Worth County Route K
- Aug. 20 – Worth County Route O
- Aug. 25 – Worth/Harrison counties Route HH
- Aug. 27 – Worth County Route AA
- Aug. 29 – Harrison County Route YY
- Sept. 2 – Harrison County Route M
- Sept. 11 – Harrison Route UU
- Sept. 15 – Harrison County Route O
- Sept. 22 – Harrison County Route A
Traffic Impacts: During the scrub seals, each route may be closed in up to 2-mile sections. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route during the closures.
All routes are anticipated to be complete by October 2025.

All work is weather permitting and could be rescheduled.
