Upcoming Bridge Rehab Project on Route 34 in Wayne County

SIKESTON-The Missouri Department of Transportation plans to rehabilitate the Route 34 bridge over Clark Creek in Wayne County. The bridge is located between County Road 312 and County Road 313, east of Patterson, Missouri.

Work could begin as early as February 2026. Construction will be staged to allow the roadway to remain open. Motorists should anticipate a lane closure with an 11-foot width restriction in the vicinity of the bridge as work is underway. Temporary signals will be in place to guide traffic through the work zone.

The rehabilitation work will be underway for approximately four months.

Maps, plans, and other information prepared by the Missouri Department of Transportation will be available for public inspection and copying at MoDOT’s Sikeston District office, 2675 N. Main St. in Sikeston, Missouri.
