JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Miller County Route P, north of Eldon, will close for maintenance this week. Local crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation plan to close Route P from Missouri Route 87 to the end of state maintenance in Olean. They’ll begin work at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6, at the east end of the route and work towards Route 87. All work should be completed by noon the same day.
During the closure, access to and from driveways and adjacent roadways will be restricted. Motorists are encouraged to seek an alternate route.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
MoDOT asks all motorists to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, obeying all traffic signs, and slowing down and moving over in work zones. Motorists are advised to use extra caution through work zones, obey all traffic signs, and avoid any distractions.
