MoDOT: Resurfacing Work in Dallas, Webster & Laclede Counties Beginning the Week of August 18

Dallas, Webster & Laclede Counties – Drivers can expect lane closures and occasional traffic delays on various routes in Dallas, Webster, and Laclede Counties during a resurfacing project beginning the week of August 18, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.

Project Information:

  • Dallas County
    • Route F between Missouri Route 38 and Ash Street south of Buffalo
    • Route K between Missouri Route 32 and Missouri Route 64 east of Buffalo
    • Route JJ between Missouri Route 32 and Freight Road east of Buffalo
    • Route TT between U.S. Route 65 and 250th Road south of Buffalo
  • Webster County
    • Route F between Webster County Route M in Niangua and Webster County Route MM east of Niangua
    • Route Y between Webster County Route W and Givins Branch Road north of Marshfield
  • Laclede, Dallas & Webster Counties
    • Route Y between Laclede County Route M in Conway and Webster County Route W north of Marshfield

Routes will receive a new asphalt driving surface and road markings in various locations. Work will be done during daytime hours from Monday – Friday.

Traffic Impacts:

  • Traffic is reduced to one lane where contractor crews are laying asphalt
  • Drivers will encounter flaggers and pilot cars directing them through the work zone. Drivers should wait for the pilot vehicle before proceeding through the work zones or before entering the work zones from a side road.
  • No signed detour
  • Drivers should find alternate routes
  • Signs will alert drivers approaching the work zone
  • Crews and equipment close to traffic in areas

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.

  • Prime contractor: Blevins Asphalt Construction Co., Mt. Vernon
  • Total project cost: $4.2 million
  • Contract completion date: November 1, 2025
