MoDOT to host ribbon-cutting ceremony for new St. Johns Church/Miller Road signalized intersection

The public is invited to help celebrate the completion of the new four-way traffic signal at St. Johns Church Road and Miller Road East on U.S. Route 61/67.  The ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Thursday, August 7, at 10 a.m., at the pavilion of St. John’s Lutheran School in Arnold, MO.

The church and school is located at 3517 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010.

The upgraded signals were officially completed in late July.

“These signals are a wonderful addition to the safety on U.S. Route 61/67.  These are a not only a safety improvement for vehicles, but with collaboration from the community they are also an improvement for pedestrians with the facilities that were added from comments received on the project.” said Franklin/Jefferson Counties Area Liaison Jordan Dalaviras.

Questions regarding the ceremony may be directed to MoDOT Franklin/Jefferson Counties Communications Coordinator Rachel Sudduth at Rachel.Sudduth@modot.mo.gov.
