Route 164 in Dunklin and Pemiscot Counties Reduced for Pavement Improvements

SIKESTON―Route 164 in Dunklin and Pemiscot counties will be reduced to one lane with an 11-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement overlay and shoulder grading.   

This section of roadway is located from Route 412 in Cardwell, Missouri to Route 61 in Steele, Missouri.  

Weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin at 6 a.m. Monday, Aug. 11 with completion anticipated Monday, Feb. 2, 2026.  

  The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
