Resurfacing Work Scheduled on I-70 South Outer Road in Warren and St. Charles Counties

HANNIBAL – Weather permitting, as early as August 18, a resurfacing project is expected to begin on the Interstate 70 South Outer Road, from Route F in Warren County to Route T at Foristell in St. Charles County.

Work will occur during the nighttime hours, between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction where crews are actively working. Flaggers and a pilot car will be utilized for traffic control to guide traffic through the work zone. All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.

The $785,358 contract was awarded this spring to Magruder Paving, LLC of Troy, MO. All work is scheduled to be completed by late summer.
