Lane closures for urgent pavement repair on WB I-470, 6-10 a.m. on July 28

Work will take place between Raytown Rd. and Blue Ridge Blvd.

JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will make a double lane closure on WB-470 between Raytown Rd. and Blue Ridge Blvd. for urgent pavement repair from 6-10 a.m. (approximately) on Monday, July 28.

This double lane closure will be in place after the scheduled full closure for the resurfacing project Raytown Rd. to Hickman Mills Dr. ends at 6 a.m. on Monday, July 28.

Motorists may experience delays. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
