LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from July 28-Aug. 1. All work is weather permitting.
JACKSON COUNTY
Missouri Highway 78 eastbound between Little Blue parkway and 7 Hwy: right lane closed on Mon., July 28 until Tues., July 29, for pavement repair.
Interstate 70 eastbound and westbound lanes: intermittent lane closures on Thurs., July 31, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for mobile pothole patching operations.
JOHNSON COUNTY
Route OO between NW 1000th Rd. and NW 900th Rd.: flagging operation from Mon., July 28 until Tues., July 29, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement patching.
Route PP between 321SE and 371SE: closed on Tues., July 29, for culvert replacement.
PLATTE COUNTY
Route N, one mile north of NW Farley Hampton Rd.: closed on Mon., July 28 until Tues., July 29, for culvert replacement.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
