HANNIBAL – The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.
All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.
Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.
Lincoln County
Route P – July 28 – 31 & August 4 - 7, CLOSED for bridge maintenance beginning 1.0 mile east of Missouri Route 79 to 0.5 mile west of Kickapoo Road over Old Kings Lake Creek near Elsberry between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
Route Z – July 30, CLOSED for patching operations from Route HH in Pike County to Kelch Road in Lincoln County between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Macon County
Route Z – July 28, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 149 to Route VV between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route W– July 29, CLOSED for seal coat operations from U.S. Route 36 to end of state maintenance between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
Route WW – July 29, LANE RESTRICTION for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 129 to Linn County line between 9:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route RA – July 30, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route J to Jupiter Avenue between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.
Route M – July 30, CLOSED for seal coat operations from U.S. Route 63 to Olive Avenue near Atlanta between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.
Route K – July 30, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route M to Landmark Street between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route K – July 31, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route M to U.S. Route 36 between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
Route M – July 31, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Olive Avenue to U.S. Route 63 near Atlanta between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route M – August 4, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Olive Avenue to U.S. Route 63 near Atlanta between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Marion County
Route U – July 29, CLOSED for seal coat operations from U.S. Route 36 to Route C between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route Z – July 30, CLOSED for patching and seal coating operations from U.S. Route 36 to Route C between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Route E – August 4, CLOSED for patching operations from Route F to Route C between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.
Montgomery County
Route F – July 28, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Interstate 70 overpass on Route F to Route V between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.
Route JJ – July 29 – 31, CLOSED for patching operations from Route F to Route E between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.
Pike County
Route F – July 28, CLOSED for patching operations from U.S. Route 61 to end of state maintenance between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
Route HH – July 28, CLOSED for patching operations from U.S. Route 61 to CR 318 between 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route HH – July 29, CLOSED for patching operations from CR 318 to Route Z between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route Z – July 30, CLOSED for patching operations from Route HH to Kelch Road in Lincoln County between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route Z – July 31, CLOSED for patching operations from Kelch Road in Lincoln County to Missouri Route 161 in Pike County between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Route HH – August 4, CLOSED for seal coat operations from U.S. Route 61 to Route Z between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Route Z – August 5, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Route HH to U.S. Route 61 between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m.
Schuyler County
Route O – July 28 – 29, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repairs from U.S. Route 63 to end of state maintenance between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route P – July 30 – 31, CLOSED for seal coat operations from U.S. Route 63 to end of state maintenance to between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route U – August 4 – 5, CLOSED for patching operations from U.S. Route 63 to Route D between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Route D – August 6 – 7, CLOSED for patching operations from Route A to Route V between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.
Shelby County
Route Y – August 4, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 151 to end of state maintenance between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route DD – August 5, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 151 to Route TT between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route DD – August 6, CLOSED for patching operations from Route TT to Route A between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Route TT – August 7, CLOSED for patching operations from Route DD to U.S. Route 36 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone.
