Where: Jasper County Route FF (32nd Street) between Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railroad (CPKC) tracks and Davis Boulevard in Joplin
When: 7 p.m., Friday, July 25 to 7 a.m., Saturday, July 26
What: Contractor crews sampling soils on Route FF (32nd Street) in Joplin in preparation for a project to build an overpass over CPKC Railroad, currently scheduled for 2028
Traffic Impacts:
- Westbound Route FF (32nd Street) traffic reduced to one-lane where crews are working
- At least one westbound Route FF (32nd Street) lane open to traffic at all times
- All eastbound Route FF (32nd Street) lanes open to traffic at all times
- Drivers urged to watch for crews and equipment working close to traffic
- Drivers can expect traffic delays and are encouraged to find alternate routes
- Signs will alert drivers approaching work zone
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
