Where: U.S. Route 65 between U.S. Route 60 and Evans Road south of Springfield
When: 12 a.m. – 4 a.m., Thursday early morning, July 31
What: Utility crews are installing a utility line across Route 65 south of Springfield. Crews will set up the work zone the night of Wednesday, July 30. Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers will slow traffic on Route 65 for up to 15 minutes at a time.
Traffic Impacts:
- U.S. Route 65 traffic slowed or stopped for up to 15 minutes between U.S. Route 60 and Evans Road south of Springfield
- Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers will slow or stop traffic on Route 65
- Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work schedule
- Check MoDOT’s Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts
Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.
