MoDOT KC to host Public Meeting for U.S. Route 40 Corridor Improvements in Jackson County, Aug. 28

JACKSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation Kansas City (MoDOT KC) will hold an open house style meeting to discuss corridor improvements and signal upgrades on U.S. Route 40 from Cliff Avenue to Little Blue Parkway to improve traffic flow and safety along the Route 40 corridor.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, August 28 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm at the Mid-Continent Public Library Independence Branch located at 4505 Little Blue Pkwy, Independence, MO 64057. The meeting will provide the opportunity for attendees to ask questions, learn more about the project, and leave a comment. MoDOT is committed to providing access to this event for all participants. The meeting will be an open house meeting with no formal presentation. Following the public meeting there will also be an opportunity to view project displays and exhibits and leave comments on the project webpage beginning at 4 pm on Thursday, August 28 until 4 pm on Tuesday, September 11.
