REMINDER: JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting overnight double lane closures on eastbound I-470 between Hillcrest Road and Raytown Road for resurfacing operations tonight, Tuesday, July 22 until Wednesday, July 23 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. This work began on Monday, July 21.
REVISED – (ADDED) RAMP CLOSURES: Crews will also close the ramp from EB I-470 to Raytown Rd. and the ramp from Blue Ridge to EB I-470. TONIGHT, Tuesday, July 22 until Wednesday, July 23 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Motorists may experience delays. All work is weather permitting.

This work is part of a project to resurface EB/WB I-470 from Hickman Mills Dr. to Raytown Rd. in the summer of 2025.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
