REMINDER: JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will CLOSE EB I-470 from Hillcrest Rd. to Raytown Rd. from 8 p.m. on Friday, July 18 until 6 a.m. on Monday, July 21.
The following will be CLOSED from 8 p.m. on Friday, July 18 until 6 a.m. on Monday, July 21:
- EB I-470 will be closed from Hillcrest Rd. to Raytown Rd
- Suggested detours:
- Traffic traveling on EB I-435 from Kansas will be diverted to SB I-49 or NB I-435 NB or SB U.S. 71
- Traffic traveling on SB I-435 will be directed to SB I-49 or WB I-435
- Traffic traveling on SB U.S. 71 Hwy will be directed to SB I-49 or WB I-435
- Traffic traveling on NB I-49 from Grandview will be directed to I-435 WB, US 71 Hwy SB, or I-435 NB
- Suggested detours:
- Ramp from EB I-470 to Blue Ridge Blvd. will be closed.
- Ramp from Blue Ridge Blvd. to EB I-470 will be closed.
- There will be no access to EB I-470 from Blue Ridge Blvd.
- Ramp from EB I-470 to Raytown Rd. will be closed.
- Access to EB I-470 from Raytown Road will remain open.
- A suggested detour for this work is I-470 WB to MO 350 EB/WB and I-470 EB to I-49 SB.
This work is part of a project to resurface EB/WB I-470 from Hickman Mills Dr. to Raytown Rd. in the summer of 2025.
