ST. LOUIS — The Missouri Department of Transportation will close two right lanes and the shoulder of eastbound Interstate 70 at the Blanchette Bridge over the Missouri River this weekend for bridge repairs. All work is weather permitting.
Friday, July 18, crews will close the two eastbound right lanes and shoulder at 8 p.m. This around the clock closure will end at 5 a.m. Monday, July 21. Three eastbound lanes on the bridge will remain open. This is the first of three similar weekend closures.
In addition, MoDOT crews will close the northbound I-170 exit ramp to westbound I-70 (airport exit) Friday, July 18 at 9 p.m. until Monday, July 21 at 5 a.m. for bridge painting. Message boards will direct motorists around the closure.

- I-64, St. Charles County, two westbound lanes closed on the Daniel Boone Bridge over the Missouri River. One westbound lane remains on the westbound bridge and two westbound lanes shifted to the eastbound bridge through December 2025.
- Route K, St. Charles County, one lane, and the ramp to eastbound I-64 closed.
- Route MM, Franklin County, closed in both directions between Route T and Coleman Rd.
- Route 100, Franklin County, one eastbound lane closed on the Eastern Missouri Railroad bridge near Villa Ridge through early September 2025.
- I-55, Jefferson County, intersection of I-55 and Route 67 closed.
- I-55, Jefferson County, one lane of northbound/southbound I-55 closed from Route 67 to Route Z.
- I-55, Jefferson County, three left turn lanes closed at McNutt under the interstate. Traffic will move to the outside lanes. Drivers will be able to make a left turn onto the interstate ramp.
