ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – A portion of DeKalb County Route 6 is scheduled to close in Maysville on Monday, July 28 for drainage work. Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plans to close the roadway as a part of a resurfacing project on Route 6.
Traffic Impacts: During construction, Route 6 will be closed from Monday, July 28 to Monday, Aug. 11 between Hillcrest Drive and Water Street. A signed detour will be in place guiding motorists onto Missouri Route 31 to U.S. Route 36 to Route 33.
Crews are scheduled to work Monday-Saturday during daylight hours. All work is anticipated to be completed by September 2025.
