JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will be performing various overnight lane closures on northbound and southbound Interstate 435 between U.S. Highway 24 and the Missouri River for resurfacing operations. Work is scheduled to take place from Mon., July 14 until Sun., Aug. 31, from approximately 7:30 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. each night. Drivers can expect intermittent single and double lane closures during the project. All work is weather permitting.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
