JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting bridge maintenance operations on southbound I-35 beginning on approximately Friday, July 11 at 8:00 p.m. until Sunday, July 13 at 6:00 a.m. All work is weather permitting.
Traffic Modifications:
- Crews will conduct a double lane closure on SB I-35 between 20th Street to 27th Street.
- Crews will CLOSE the ramp at Pennway Street to SB I-35.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
