MoDOT closes lane on Route AB (Ladue) for month, starting July 16

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use Route AB (Ladue Road) between Route 141 and Interstate 270 should allow extra time as crews will close a lane on a portion of the roadway for a month, starting next week.

Weather permitting, crews will close one lane around-the-clock on Ladue between Laduemont Drive and Wexler Manor Court, starting Wednesday, July 16 at 9 a.m. During the closure, crews will be working on barrier wall and sidewalk east of Hibler Creek.

Since the closure leaves only one lane open on Ladue, two-way traffic will be controlled using temporary signals, allowing traffic to go one way at a time. Drivers should consider alternate routes or allow extra time.

In addition, crews are closing the entrance from Chasselle Lane to Ladue Road during this work. Residents on Chasselle Lane will need to exit to the north at North Mason Road.

The work is part of on-going sidewalk updates and resurfacing along Route AB between Route 141 and Interstate 270.  For more on the project, visit: Route AB Pavement Resurfacing in St. Louis County | Missouri Department of Transportation.
