Warsaw – The public is invited to participate in an in-person public meeting to learn more about plans to make traffic and safety improvements along Missouri Route 7 in Henry and Benton counties, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
The open-house style in-person meeting will be held 4:30-6 p.m., Tuesday, July 22, at the Warsaw High School cafeteria, 20363 Lane of Champions.
A virtual (online) meeting will be available beginning Tuesday, July 8 until Tuesday, August 5, and can be accessed at www.modot.org/southwest.
The project will make safety and traffic flow improvements along Route 7 from just west of the Henry/Benton county line east to Benton County Route AA.
The estimated cost of the project is $3.4 million. Work is tentatively scheduled to begin in the spring of 2026 with completion in the fall of 2026.
