Buchanan County Eastbound Route U to U.S. Route 59 to close tomorrow

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Sprague Excavating, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will close westbound Route U to U.S. Route 59 in St. Joseph beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, July 8, at 7 a.m. for watermain repairs.

Traffic Impacts: Sprague Excavating will be detouring traffic north onto Packers Avenue and then east on Illinois Avenue back to U.S. Route 59. Westbound traffic off U.S. Route 59 will be unaffected. Sprague Excavating expects to complete repairs and reopen the roadway midday Wednesday, July 9.
