MO Route 137 in Texas County Closed for Bridge Replacement

SIKESTON—Route 137 in Texas County will be closed as contractor crews replace the bridge over Jack’s Fork (South Fork).   

This section of roadway is located between Route U and Route AZ. 

Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, July 21 with completion anticipated Friday, Oct. 17. This road will remain closed until the work is completed and a signed detour will be in place.  

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
