JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting overnight double lane closures on eastbound I-470 between Hillcrest Road and Raytown Road for resurfacing operations beginning on approximately Monday, July 14 until Thursday, July 17 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Motorist may experience delay. All work is weather permitting.

This work is part of a project to resurface EB/WB I-470 from Hickman Mills Dr. to Raytown Rd. in the summer of 2025.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
