SIKESTON―Route AA in Mississippi County will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform asphalt overlay.
This section of roadway is located from Route 80 to Route 77 near Wolf Island, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Tuesday, July 1 through Friday, Aug. 1 from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily. While work is underway, flaggers will be in place to guide traffic.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
