Kansas City area maintenance work for June 30-July 3

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from June 30 – July 3. No work is scheduled for Fri., July 4. All work is weather permitting.

CASS COUNTY

Route B bridge over I-70: lane closure from Mon., June 30 until Wed., July 3, for bridge work. Details: Traffic Impacts for Bridge Maintenance Repairs on MO B over I-49 in Archie, June 30 - July 3,7-11 | Missouri Department of Transportation

JACKSON COUNTY

U.S. Highway 40 westbound between White Cemetery Rd. and SW Woods Chapel Rd: right lane closed from Mon., June 30 until Thu., July 3, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, for drainage work.

Missouri Route 9 between Admiral and north end of the Missouri River: various closures for pavement operations:

  • Tue., July 1 from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.: right lane closed on MO-9 northbound along with intermittent ramp closures.
  • Wed., July 2 from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.: right lane closed on MO-9 southbound along with intermittent ramp closures.

JOHNSON COUNTY

Route FF between U.S. Highway 50 and Route NN: flagging operation from Mon., June 30 until Wed., July 2, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

PETTIS COUNTY

Route E between Cottage School Rd north and Cottage School Rd. south: full closure on Tue., July 1, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for culvert replacement work.

PLATTE COUNTY

Route Z between Interstate 29 and Clinton Co. line: flagging operations from Tue., July 1 until Thu., July 3, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for resurfacing. SALINE COUNTY

Missouri Highway 122 between Missouri Highway 41 and end of state maintenance: flagging operations on Mon., June 30, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair work.

Route O between Route F and Slater: flagging operations on Tue., July 1 and Wed., July 2, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
