Upcoming Planned Roadwork for Northeast Missouri, June 30 - July 11, 2025

HANNIBAL – The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.

All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.

Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.

Adair County

Missouri Route 11 – June 30 – July 2, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Missouri Route 129 to U.S. Route 63 between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

Missouri Route 149 – July 1 – 2, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Route AA to Missouri Route 6 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Route Y – July 7 – 8, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 11 to Route BB between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Route AA – June 30, CLOSED for patching operations from U.S. Route 63 to Morgan Road near Greentop between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route BB – July 9 – 10, CLOSED for patching operations from Route F to Missouri Route 149 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Knox County

Missouri Route 15 – June 30 – July 3 & July 7 - 10, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from 0.50 mile before and after the South Fork South Fabius River between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place where crews are actively working.

Lincoln County

Missouri Route 79 – July 1 - 2, LANE RESTRICTION for patching operations from Route B to Route N between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route M – July 7 – 9, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repairs from Missouri Route 79 to Sterling Harbor Road near Elsberry between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Marion County

U.S. Route 24 North Outer Road West – June 30, CLOSED for seal coat operations from U.S. Route 24 to CR 308 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

U.S. Route 24 North Outer Road East – June 30, CLOSED for patching operations from U.S. Route 61/24 to end of state maintenance between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

U.S. Route 24 South Outer Road East – July 7, CLOSED for patching operations from U.S. Route 61/U.S. Route 24 to end of state maintenance between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

U.S. Route 24 North Outer Road West – July 7, CLOSED for patching operations from U.S. Route 24 to end of state maintenance between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

U.S. Route 61 Outer Road West – July 1, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 168 to end of state maintenance in Palmyra between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

U.S. Route 61 Outer Road East – July 1, CLOSED for patching operations from East Ross Street to CR 328 in Palmyra between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Business Route 61 North – July 8, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 168 to U.S. Route 61/U.S. Route 24 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route B – July 2, CLOSED for patching operations from Route JJ to CR 413 between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Route J – July 9, CLOSED for patching operations from Route J Spur to Route D between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route BB – July 1, CLOSED for seal coat operations from Missouri Route 168 to end of state maintenance between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Route DD – July 10, CLOSED for patching operations from Route C to CR 195 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Montgomery County

Route J – July 2, CLOSED for patching operations from I-70 overpass to Missouri Route 161 near Mineola between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route N – June 30 – July 1, CLOSED for patching operations from Route J to Route N overpass near Mineola between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Work with us in the work zone!  Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel.  With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone.  Be informed of your route by checking the MoDOT Traveler Information Map before you leave to see if you will encounter any work zones.
