Roadway Improvements scheduled on MO 45 in Platte County, July 7 - early Oct.

PLATTE COUNTY -The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting roadway improvements on NB/SB MO Route 45 at NW Jones-Meyer Road including the widening of MO 45 and the addition of a turn lane at the intersection. This work will be completed in three phases, the first phase will begin on July 7 and involve the extension of a culvert underneath MO 45.  

This is not a complete closure, but motorist may experience delays during the first phase beginning on Monday, July 7 between approx. 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. until early October.

All work is weather permitting.

Following the completion of phase 1, more information will be shared regarding traffic impacts for phases 2 and 3 once the construction schedule is confirmed.

  • Phase 2 – Widening MO 45 NB.  NW Jones-Meyer Rd will be closed at MO 45.
  • Phase 3 – Widening MO 45 SB.

All work is weather dependent. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
