JACKSON COUNTY – Permit work by I-470 Western Gateway Transportation Development District for roadway improvements and the installation of a diverging diamond interchange (DDI) on View High Dr. under I-470 will require the CLOSURE of the following ramps at I-470 and View High Dr. from approximately 6 a.m. on Monday, July 7 through Thursday, Sept. 4. All work is weather permitting.
The following closures will be in place from approximately 6 a.m. on Monday, July 7 through Thursday, Sept. 4.
- Ramp from WB I-470 to View High Dr. will be closed.
- Ramp from View High Dr. to EB I-470 will be closed.
- View High Dr. just north of I-470 is closed, ongoing through Sept. 4.
The following closures will be in place from approximately 6 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22 through Thursday, Sept. 4.
- Ramp from View High Dr. to WB I-470 will be closed.
*The ramp from EB I-470 to View High Dr. will remain open during construction but will be reduced to one lane beginning on July 22.
Motorists are encouraged to use adjacent I-470 interchanges to navigate around the ramp closures.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
