SIKESTON– Northbound Interstate 55 in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane with a 14-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge maintenance.
This section of roadway is located from mile marker 50.5 to mile marker 51.2 near New Madrid, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, July 14 through Thursday, July 17 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. The work zone will stay in place until work is completed. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
