Kansas City area maintenance work for June 23-27

LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from June 23-27. All work is weather permitting.

JACKSON COUNTY

Interstate 70 eastbound near Truman Rd.: left lane closure on Tue., June 24 and Wed., June 25, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., for barrier wall repair.

U.S. Highway 50 eastbound off-ramp at Missouri Highway 291 south: ramp closed on Wed., June 25, form approximately 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., for pavement repair.

JOHNSON COUNTY

Missouri Highway 58 between Route VV and SW 200th Rd.: flagging operation on Mon., June 23, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.

Route FF between U.S. Highway 50 and Route NN: flagging operation from Tue., June 24 until Thu., June 26, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

PETTIS COUNTY

Route E between Missouri Highway 52 and Route B: flagging operation from Mon., June 23 until Thu., June 26, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

PLATTE COUNTY

Route Z between Interstate 29 and Clinton Co. line: flagging operations from Tue., June 24 until Thu., June 26, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for resurfacing. SALINE COUNTY

Route BB between U.S. Highway 65 and Missouri Highway 20: flagging operations from Mon., June 23 until Thu., June 26, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
