ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Vance Brothers, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, has delayed the westbound ramp scrub seals on U.S. Route 36 in Buchanan County due to the weather. The scrub seals on the westbound ramps were originally scheduled for Tuesday, June 17 but the ramps are now scheduled to be sealed on Thursday, June 19.
The eastbound lanes of Route 36 are still scheduled to be sealed tonight, Wednesday, June 18.
The tentative schedule is as follows:
Eastbound lanes on June 18:
- Ramps to/from Route AC (Riverside Road).
- Ramps to/from Interstate 29.
- Ramps to/from U.S. Route 169 (Belt Highway).
- Ramps to/from 28th Street and Hill Top Road.
- Ramps to/from 22nd Street.
Westbound lanes on June 19:
- Ramps to/from Route AC (Riverside Road).
- Ramps to/from Interstate 29.
- Ramps to/from U.S. Route 169 (Belt Highway).
- Ramps to/from 28th Street and Hill Top Road.
- Ramps to/from 22nd Street.
Traffic impacts: The ramps will be closed intermittently between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Motorists will need to use an alternate route.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
