SIKESTON– Southbound Interstate 55 in New Madrid County will be reduced to one lane with a 12-foot width restriction as Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform bridge repairs
This section of roadway is located from mile marker 51 to mile marker 53 near Kewanee, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, June 30 through Wednesday, July 2 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The work zone will stay in place until work is completed. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
