JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will continue to perform bridge deck repairs requiring a double lane closure on SB I-35 over Summit St. and W. 27th St., beginning at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 13 until 6 a.m. on Monday, June 16. This is a continuation of the work taking place, evening and overnight, ongoing – June 20. For more info, visit https://www.modot.org/node/69979.
This work is part of a larger project, which repairs various bridge decks in Cass, Jackson, and Platte Counties.
All work is weather dependent. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
