Ramps on Route 36 in Buchanan County scheduled to close June 16-17

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Vance Brothers, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, is scheduled to close the below east and westbound U.S. Route 36 ramps in St. Joseph overnight beginning Monday, June 16, due to a scrub seal project.

Buchanan County

  • June 16:
    • Ramps to/from Route AC (Riverside Road)
    • Ramps to/from Interstate 29
  • June 17
    • Ramps to/from U.S. Route 169 (Belt Highway)
    • Ramps to/from 28th Street and Hill Top Road
    • Ramps to/from 22nd

Traffic impacts: The ramps will be closed intermittently between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Motorists will need to use an alternate route.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
