LEE’S SUMMIT, MO – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from June 9-13. All work is weather permitting.
JACKSON COUNTY
Interstate 435 northbound on-ramp and off-ramp at U.S. Highway 24 (Winner Rd.): ramps closed on Tue., June 10 and Wed., June 11, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.
Interstate 70 eastbound at Brooklyn Ave.: lane closures on Thu., June 12, from approximately 8 a.m. until 3 p.m., for pavement repair.
Various locations: intermittent lane closures from Mon., June 9 until Fri., June 13, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pothole patching.
JOHNSON COUNTY
Missouri Highway 131 between Missouri Highway 58 and Missouri Highway 2: flagging operation from Mon., June 9 until Thu., June 12, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.
Route PP between NE 321st Rd. and NE 421st Rd.: full closure on Tue., June 10, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for culvert replacement.
PETTIS COUNTY
Route B between U.S. Highway 65 and Missouri Highway 127: flagging operation from Mon., June 9 until Thu., June 12, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.
PLATTE COUNTY
Route Z between Interstate 29 and Clinton Co. line: flagging operations from Tue., June 10 until Thu., June 12, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for resurfacing. This project is scheduled to take place Tuesdays through Thursdays until July 10. SALINE COUNTY
Route E between Missouri Highway 41 and Route H: flagging operation from Mon., June 9 until Tue., June 10, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.
Route J between Pettis Co. line and end of state maintenance: flagging operation on Wed., June 11, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.
Route AE between Route J and Cooper Co. line: flagging operation on Thu., June 12, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for pavement repair.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
