MoDOT to host Public Meeting on June 17 for Interstate 55 Bridge Rehabilitation over Meramec River

JEFFERSON COUNTY—The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has scheduled an open-house-style public meeting for Interstate 55 Bridge Rehabilitation over the Meramec River. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 17, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Arnold City Hall, 2101 Jeffco Blvd, Arnold, MO 63010.

The meeting will focus on the upcoming bridge rehabilitation project, which includes routine bridge maintenance repairs, resurfacing, and repairing deteriorated sections of the bridge deck. Planned improvements include an overall bridge maintenance cycle to help maximize the structure's lifespan.

Attendees can stop by at any time during the meeting to view project plans, traffic staging, and speak with project engineers. A formal presentation is not scheduled.  Attendees will also have an opportunity to provide feedback on the project by completing a comment form while at the meeting or online at Interstate 55 Bridge Rehabilitation in Jefferson and St. Louis Counties | Missouri Department of Transportation. The comment form will be available June 17- July 1.
