Ramp closures on I-470 and I-70 in Jackson County for pavement repair operations, TONIGHT - June 7

JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will be conducting pavement repair operation on I-470 and I-70 in Jackson County resulting in various ramp closures. All work is weather permitting.

See below for traffic modifications:

  • Crews will close the I-70 eastbound ramp to I-435 southbound beginning on approx. Friday, June 6 (TONIGHT) at 7 p.m. until Saturday, June 7 at 5 a.m.
  • Crews will close the Manchester Trafficway on-ramp to I-70 eastbound beginning on approx. Friday, June 6 (TONIGHT) at 7 p.m. until Saturday, June 7 at 5 a.m.
  • Crews will close the northbound I-470 ramp to I-70 eastbound beginning on approx. Friday, June 6 (TONIGHT) at 7 p.m. until Saturday, June 7 at 5 a.m.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
