SIKESTON – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission awarded contracts for the Southeast District during its regular meeting on June 5. Contracts included intersection improvements, pavement preservation treatments, the addition of rumble strips, a bridge replacement, striping, pavement improvements and erosions control repairs.
Contracts included the following:
- A $1,685,115 contract was awarded to Fronabarger Concreters, Inc., for intersection improvements and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) sidewalk improvements on Route 34 at the south intersection of Route 51 in Bollinger County, in Marble Hill, Missouri.
- A $3,347,122 contract was awarded to Apex Paving Company, for a scrub seal on Route 49 from Route 21 to Route 34 and the addition of rumble stripes on Route 49 from Route 143 to Route 34 in Iron and Wayne counties.
- A $3,722,369 contract was awarded to H.R. Quadri Contractors, LLC, for a scrub seal and the addition of rumble stripes on Route M from Route 160 to Route 63 in Oregon County.
- A $4,428,373 contract was awarded to Penzel Construction Company, Inc., for a bridge replacement on Route AA over Route 60 in Scott County.
- A $196,429 contract was awarded to Courtney Construction, LLC, for a slope repair on Route 95 at the Little North Fork White River in Ozark County.
- A $1,042,404 contract was awarded to Reynolds Sealing and Striping, Inc., for striping upgrades along various sections of Interstate 55 and Interstate 57 in the Southeast District.
- A $7,962,024 contract was awarded to Magruder Paving, LLC, for resurfacing Route 164 from Route 412 to Route 61, and resurfacing Route Y from Route 412 to Route 164 in Dunklin County.
- A $93,890 contract was awarded to Magruder Paving, LLC, for resurfacing Route YY from Route 164 to the end of state maintenance in Dunklin County.
